Editor's Note
Wonderful little brewery in New York's first capitol - Kingston. The city is a kind of gateway to the Catskills and the Upper Hudson River Valley, but could be a pit stop on your way up to the Adirondacks as well. It's a city filled with interesting independent businesses, cafes, restaurants and... Kingston Standard. It's worth a stop. The brewery has easy parking off a quiet side street. Inside, Kingston Standard has ample tables and counter space, plus outdoor seating for enjoying a beer outside on beautiful days. Pizza and side dishes were tested and excellent. Super friendly staff helped us through the beer selections, including their barrel fermented and bottle conditioned brews. Ended up trying a dry-hopped lager and got pale ale cans to go as well. All were excellent. Merch was available and designs were cool. Definitely a brewery worth repeat visits.
